NEW DELHI: At least 17 people were injured on Tuesday morning after a bus plunged into a gorge near Patrighat on the Mandi-Jahu road in Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district.The bus was en route from Jahu to Mandi when the accident occurred.According to officials, the injured are being transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. A massive search and rescue operation has been launched, with both locals and authorities involved in the efforts. However, the operation has been hindered by heavy rains in the region.Preliminary reports suggest that the accident led to multiple injuries, though no fatalities have been confirmed yet.
