Himachal School Principal Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Staff Member, Taking Nude Photos

A shocking case of sexual abuse has come to light in Theog in Himachal Pradesh’s Shimla district where the principal of a private school has been accused of assaulting a female staff member. The police have registered a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 64, 74, 79, 332(C), 115(2), 351(2), 126(2), and 3(5). The woman had been employed at the school located in Mahori village since September 12, 2024.

She reported to the police that the principal coerced her into having physical relations with him. On one occasion, he allegedly entered her room, forcibly engaged in physical relations, and took nude photographs of her. The woman further claimed that he had forced her into physical relations at various locations.

The victim also shared that in March 2025, when she refused his advances, he allegedly beat her with a belt. Subsequently, he would frequently stop her on her way. The woman further stated that on May 24, he forcibly broke into her room.

Following her complaint, the police have registered a case. This incident is not isolated, as there have been previous cases of molestation reported in schools.

Teachers in government schools across Sirmaur and Solan districts have been accused of molesting students. In Solan’s Kunihar area of Arki, a 53-year-old teacher was arrested for allegedly molesting young girls. In Sirmaur’s Rajgarh, a maths teacher was accused of harassing 24 girls, while six others levelled similar allegations against a Hindi teacher in the district.
