Hina Khan on being a minimalist bride on her wedding day; writes ‘I have been content with the purity of love and care all around me’

Hina Khan, who recently tied the knot with longtime partner Rocky Jaiswal on June 4, has captured hearts yet again—not just for her wedding, but for how she chose to experience it. Eschewing grandeur for grace, Hina became the epitome of elegance and simplicity as a minimalistic bride.Sharing a heartfelt note, Hina reflected on the emotions of the day being a minimalist bride, writing, “It was so reassuring to see that I managed to remain as minimalistic as I envisioned myself on this beautiful and personal landmark of a day. No heavy lehengas, heavy makeup or heavy jewellery, no extensive hairdos or elaborated accessories. Didn’t need to do any of it, as from within, I have been content with the purity of love and care all around me.

Only that mattered. And that made me glowwwww.”

Hina’s bridal ensemble was a custom creation by ace designer Manish Malhotra, who praised her look as “Classic, Beautiful and Regal.” The actress wore an opal green handloom saree intricately woven with gold and silver threadwork, featuring traditional motifs. The saree was elegantly finished with a blush-toned border in zardozi embroidery and pleated gota detailing for added dimension.

A soft pink scalloped veil and vintage heirloom jewellery curated by Malhotra completed her dreamy look, radiating subtlety and charm. The designer shared, “Subtle pleated gota detailing added depth to the fabric, while a soft pink veil with a scalloped hem lent a dreamlike finish.”Rocky complemented her with an ecru kurta that matched the mood of simplicity and quiet celebration. For Hina, this wasn’t just a wedding—it was a personal triumph, a moment of light in the midst of a tough journey, and a declaration of love lived on her own terms.
