Neymar’s injury update sparks outrage after Brazil’s match against Morocco
As per ESPN, as Brazil gears up for its second match in the World Cup against Haiti in Philadelphia on Friday, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has made it clear that Neymar will not be able to play in the group stage.
As per reports, it is being taken care that Neymar does not injure himself again and this news has not gone down well with fans.A fan took to X and posted, “I can’t wait to see Brazil go out early. Complete loser brought him only for monetary reasons…”Another fan wrote, “So their "extreme emergency" plan is neymar sho havrnt played for who knows how long?? Brazil cant be serious…”A third fan joked, “Hasn't trained in a month but still got a front-row VIP seat to watch them draw against Morocco. Bro is officially a professional spectator at this point…”Another fan posted, “Neymar is there for vibes......Nobody expects anything from neymar.
Everyone knows neymar is finished, his body is done. Neymar doesn't have the physical capacity to play regular football.”A fifth fan noted, “They had the opportunity to send for another player they knew he was not fit and will not be fit now idk if even when the make it out thru group he can be put out there…”However, neither the star player Neymar nor the team has responded to the criticism that he has received in the last few days.
What really happened to Neymar before the World Cup 2026 began?
For the unversed, Neymar has not trained since joining the Brazil team on 27th May after sustaining a brutal tear in his right calf during a Santos Brasileirao Betano league match against Coritiba on 17th May.While many were expecting Neymar to bounce back on the field at the match against Morocco, it seems the star player will take more days.Away from the field, the star player recently announced he is expecting his third child with his long term girlfriend.
