Tarun Mansukhani’s latest comedy film ‘Housefull 5’ is proving to be a crowd-puller even in its second week. Starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Jacqueline Fernandez and Soundarya Sharma, the film released on 6 June and has managed to keep the cash registers ringing.

On Saturday, 14 June, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 18.59% across India. Audience numbers increased as the day progressed, with morning shows at 7.77%, afternoon at 20.41%, evening at 20.98%, and night shows peaking at 25.21%. These numbers suggest that the film gained more viewers as the day went on, especially since it was a weekend.

A star-studded ride full of laughsOne of the biggest reasons behind the film’s success is its massive and exciting cast. Alongside thel trio of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh, the film features Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri and Soundarya Sharma in lead roles.
