Candace Owens stirred a fresh online argument after reacting to a public clash between Ben Shapiro and Piers Morgan. The disagreement started earlier this week when Ben Shapiro criticized Piers Morgan’s talk show.

Soon after, Morgan responded online, and Candace Owens stepped in with sharp comments aimed at her former colleague.

The debate began during the March 3 episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored. The show featured a discussion about Iran and U.S. foreign policy. Comedian Dave Smith criticized the U.S. government’s approach toward the Middle East during the conversation.A day later, on March 4, Ben Shapiro addressed the segment on his podcast.

He strongly criticized both Dave Smith and Piers Morgan for hosting the debate. Ben Shapiro said Piers Morgan’s program felt like sensational television rather than serious political discussion. He described the show as “the Jerry Springer of political television” and said it made “a mockery of the entire industry.” Piers Morgan quickly responded on X, formerly Twitter. He posted a picture with Ben Shapiro and wrote:“Amused to see @benshapiro being so snide about me today. Not sure what’s pissed him off so much, me being critical of the Israeli government when it does things worthy of criticism, or @PiersUncensored becoming a more popular global show than his. Sorry, Ben!”

Candace Owens joins Piers Morgan and Dave Smith criticism of Ben Shapiro as public feud between former Daily Wire colleagues grows

Candace Owens, who previously worked with Ben Shapiro at The Daily Wire, reacted to Morgan’s post with a strong accusation. She wrote:“And Ben literally buys his views and recently attempted to effectively buy himself a Golden Globe.

I just don’t know how he isn’t embarrassed to carry on when everyone fully knows he’s spending money to fake relevance.”Piers Morgan also answered Ben Shapiro’s comparison to talk show host Jerry Springer. In another post, Morgan shared photos of himself with the late television host and said he saw the comparison as praise. Morgan wrote that Jerry Springer was one of the most successful figures in entertainment and also a personal friend. The British broadcaster added another claim in a separate message. According to Morgan, Ben Shapiro stopped replying to his texts and stopped appearing on his show after Morgan began criticizing Israel’s government.Dave Smith also pushed back at Ben Shapiro. In a post on X, the comedian called Shapiro “an angry little guy” and said the commentator refuses to debate him publicly.Candace Owens supported Smith’s claim and wrote:“He doesn’t debate adults. It’s a known thing.

Least of all on the topic of Israel.”The tension between Candace Owens and Ben Shapiro has been building for months. Since leaving The Daily Wire, Owens has repeatedly criticized her former colleague on social media and on her podcast. Shapiro has also publicly criticized Owens several times, including during recent podcast episodes. The online exchanges show how disagreements between political commentators are increasingly playing out in public across podcasts, social media posts, and streaming talk shows.
