She picked a white traditional Jamdani drape from Yarn Story, which is a South Kolkata brand and is known for its handloom drapes. Jamdani is a patterned, sheer cotton fabric that was initially crafted around Dhaka (now in Bangladesh) and is therefore called 'Dhakai Jamdani'. According to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, Jamdani is mainly known because of its intricate designs, soft muted shades, and, of course, breathability.
