'Human GPS' Bagu Khan, behind over 100 infiltration bids, killed in J&K

Security forces killed Bagu Khan, also known as Samandar Chacha, in Gurez on Saturday.

One of the oldest and most prolific facilitators of infiltration, Bagu Khan was shot dead along with another terrorist during an infiltration attempt from the Nowshera Naar area.

Bagu Khan, fondly known as the "human GPS" in terror ranks, had been based in PoK since 1995. According to sources in the security grid, he was responsible for facilitating more than 100 infiltration attempts from various areas of the Gurez sector, with the majority being successful due to his intimate knowledge of the region’s tough terrain and secret routes.
