HYDERABAD: A major fire broke out at a furniture manufacturing unit near Abubakar Masjid in the Asifnagar, Jirra area of Hyderabad on Saturday, leading to the rescue of 13 workers.The fire started around 4.19 am, reportedly due to a short circuit in electric panel board on ground floor. Fire personnel doused the blaze within an hour. A fire also broke out in a godown at Pahadishareef, leading to the loss of properties worth lakhs. However, none were injured.
