Hyderabad police destroy narcotics worth ₹4.56 crore in first phase of 2025

The Hyderabad police on October 27 disposed of narcotic substances valued at ₹4.56 crore as part of the first phase of drug destruction for 2025.

The drugs were destroyed at M/s G.J. Multiclave (India) Pvt. Ltd., a bio-medical waste management facility located at Edulapalle in Nandigama mandal of Rangareddy district. The disposal was carried out by the Drug Disposal Committee.

The substances included 6.47 grams of cocaine, 1,585.9 kilograms of marijuana, 4.6 grams of ecstasy pills, 4,450 ml of hash oil, 4 LSD blots, 159.4 grams of MDMA, 3 Nitravet tablets, and 2 OBC papers.

The seized narcotics were linked to 128 cases registered between 2019 and 2025 across 26 police stations in Hyderabad.

In 2024, the city police had destroyed drugs worth ₹10.56 crore in two phases, covering 326 cases.
