Hyderabad protest with sheep: Yadav, Kurma groups seek cabinet seats; congress vows to take note

HYDERABAD: In a symbolic protest, members of the Yadav and Kurma communities brought sheep into the premises of Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, demanding representation in the cabinet.The protesters urged the Congress govt to appoint ministers from the Kuruma and Yadava communities, arguing that despite their significant population and economic contributions, they remain politically underrepresented.Police intervened to restore order. Normalcy was restored after a delegation from the Yadava Hakkula Porata Samithi was assured that their demands would be conveyed to senior party leaders.
