CHENNAI: To strengthen its position in EV segment, Hyundai Motors India plans to boost sourcing of components from local vendors and improve EV infrastructure. According to annual report 2024-25, to boost price competitiveness and long-term viability, it plans to prioritise localisation of key EV parts, such as battery cells, packs, power electronics and drivetrain.
It plans to scale up fast public charging stations from around 100 to 600 in seven years to boost adoption.
