Veteran actor Satish Shah, known for 'Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro' and 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai', passed away on Saturday at the age of 74. He is being fondly remembered for his unmatched comic timing. Over the years, Shah carved a special place in Indian cinema and television, bringing laughter to millions.
Two years ago, he shared his bond with director and choreographer Farah Khan.

In his interview with News18, Shah spoke about his love for mimicry and light-hearted fun. When asked about his spot-on impressions of his co-stars, the actor laughed while recalling his take on filmmaker Farah Khan during 'Main Hoon Na.'“Yeah, I think I started imitating Farah Khan much before others did. Oh yeah, come on, yeah yeah, let's do it, yeah, really you 'fab', yeah, fabulous, don't have to tell you anything, yeah, that was his thing.
Main toh uske saamne krta tha, bachhi thi vo, but I'm so happy for her , she found so much success and adulation at the same point,” he said with affection.His playful tone reflected not mockery but admiration for Farah’s infectious enthusiasm and energy on set.
His most famous work
In Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi, Shah played 43 different characters across 55 episodes, which helped him become a popular and well-known name in Indian television. Each character had a distinct style and manner, showcasing his versatility and ability to transform into diverse roles.Another show that remains iconic is Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, in which he portrayed Indravadhan Sarabhai. The role cemented his status as one of the funniest and most cherished actors in Indian television.
