Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, has said his own son should go to jail after attacking wrestler Syko Stu during a live wrestling show in Los Angeles.

The shocking incident happened on August 23, 2025, at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event, where Raja Jackson jumped into the ring from the front row and launched a brutal attack that left Skyo Stu fighting for his life. Rampage Jackson, speaking this week on September 3, 2025, told Ariel Helwani that he has cut off contact with Raja Jackson since the attack and believes jail time, community service, and therapy are needed for his son.

Quinton Rampage Jackson says Raja Jackson “dishonored” him after Los Angeles attack

Rampage Jackson explained on The Ariel Helwani Show that he has stopped talking to Raja Jackson since the Los Angeles incident. He said, “I don’t know. I don’t talk to Raja no more. He went against what I told him to do and he hid that he got wrote into a professional wrestling story.” Jackson added that Raja’s actions “dishonored” his name and also put his other children at risk.

The 46-year-old MMA legend, who once held the UFC light heavyweight belt, admitted that his first reaction after the attack was to defend his son. In the days after the incident, Quinton Rampage Jackson even called Skyo Stu “stupid.” But now, he says time has changed his view. He told Helwani, “Raja, I think that he should do a little jail time, do a little community service, and go to anger management class, get some therapy.”

Eyewitnesses at the wrestling show said Raja slammed Skyo Stu to the mat and punched him repeatedly while he lay unconscious. Skyo Stu released from hospital after serious head injuries

One week after the violent attack in Los Angeles, independent wrestler Skyo Stu was released from the hospital. His wife, Contessa Patterson, shared a joint statement on Instagram with a photo of Smith smiling at home. The statement said Skyo Stu had suffered trauma to both jaws, a cut on his lip, a fracture to his maxilla bone, and had lost several teeth.The couple thanked fans for their support, saying, “We are deeply grateful for all the love and support we’ve received during this time. Stuart has a long road of recovery ahead, but he remains in good spirits despite everything he has been through.”Skyo Stu is now recovering at home in California, while Quinton Rampage Jackson continues to speak publicly about his son Raja Jackson’s actions.
