'I Want Answer Now': Trump Demands Pharma Companies Justify Covid Drug Success

US President Donald Trump on Monday demanded pharmaceutical companies to provide proof about how effective their Covid-19 treatments really were, stating that the public deserves to know the truth without delay.

In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump criticised the ongoing confusion surrounding Covid drugs and called for transparency.

“It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs. Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree! With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW," the US President wrote.

Trump said he has seen impressive data from Pfizer and other drug makers, but he questioned why these results are not shared openly with the public.

“I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public," he noted.

mp criticised the lack of transparency, saying it has left health officials and critics—including vaccine opponents like Bobby Kennedy Jr.—arguing over whether the drugs were effective or not.

“They go off to the next “hunt" and let everyone rip themselves apart, including Bobby Kennedy Jr. and CDC, trying to figure out the success or failure of the Drug Companies Covid work," he added.

He urged the pharmaceutical companies to reveal their data immediately to both the CDC and the public, to end the ongoing confusion once and for all.

“I want them to show them NOW, to CDC and the public, and clear up this MESS, one way or the other!!!," Trump stated.

The US President also referred to Operation Warp Speed, the government programme that fast-tracked the development and distribution of Covid vaccines and treatments. While many have praised the programme as a great success, Trump said if it was not as effective as claimed, people have the right to know why.

“I hope OPERATION WARP SPEED was as “BRILLIANT" as many say it was. If not, we all want to know about it, and why???," he wrote.
