He has overtaken Ninja and Kai Cenat. The shift follows the record-breaking livestream of Ibai last month, which sent his follower count high up. The move highlights an increased influence of audience diversity and content type within the live-streaming landscape.

Ibai Llanos is now leading Twitch with his staggering 19.8 million followers, edging out his competitors who used to dominate the platform. Llanos’ journey began as an esports commentator.

It later evolved as Llanos founded his own esports company, alongside a personal channel. Today, he remains deeply involved in hosting frequent marathon commentary sessions.

Llanos' explosive growth came from La Velada del Año 5. It is a Spanish annual boxing event. In 2025, the event shattered all records, pulling 9.3 million concurrent viewers.
