The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has officially opened the registration process for the CS Executive and Professional exams scheduled for December 2025. Candidates aspiring to build a career in corporate governance and compliance can now apply online through the official portal — icsi.edu or smash.icsi.edu. The registration window begins on August 26, 2025, and students must submit their applications by September 25, 2025, to avoid a late fee.

Those who miss the deadline can still apply until October 10, 2025, with a late fee of ₹250.

ICSI CS December 2025 exam: Who can apply?

Executive Programme: Candidates who have passed the CSEET (CS Executive Entrance Test) or hold an exemption from it.
Professional Programme: Only students who have cleared the Executive Programme are eligible to register for Professional level exams.

How register for CS Executive and Professional exams

Candidates can register online for CS December 2025 Executive and Professional exams by following the steps below:

Go to smash.icsi.edu and log in to your account. New users must register first by selecting the “Register for CS Course” option.
Access the Examination Enrollment Section and select Submit Examination Form.
Fill in Exam Details

Select programme: Executive or Professional
Choose module(s): One or both groups
Select exam centre and medium (English/Hindi)
Upload scanned photo, signature, and ID documents as per size specifications

Pay the Fee Online

Executive: ₹1,500 per module
Professional: ₹1,800 per module
Late fee: ₹250 (after September 25)
Overseas surcharge: USD 100 (for Dubai centre)

After successful payment, download the acknowledgment for future reference.
