IIIT-Hyderabad, KIET to study water supply chain in Kakinada Smart City

In a collaborative initiative, the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-Hyderabad) and the Kakinada Institute of Engineering and Technology (KIET) have proposed to conduct a study on the drinking water quality, the water pipeline system and the water supply chain in Kakinada Smart City.

According to official release issued by District Collector S. Shan Mohan, the study will be led by IIIT-Hyderabad Professor V. Anuradha. The study will focus on assessing the challenges in drinking water supply in Kakinada City.

The study will also generate a report on real-time water supply in the city.
