The Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Hyderabad, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Divi’s Foundation for Gifted Children to strengthen health systems for child health and development. This partnership aims to advance early identification, assessment, and intervention for children with developmental delays and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs).

The MoU was exchanged between Rajan Shukla, Dean of Public Health Practice and Community Engagement, representing IIPH-Hyderabad, and Pramod Gaddam, president of Divi’s Foundation for Gifted Children.

As part of the collaboration, a capacity-building programme has been launched for District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC) teams in Telangana in partnership with ACCESS Health International. A two-day workshop, held on October 29 and 30 at Varnam Child Development Centre in Hyderabad, brought together DEIC professionals from Bhadradri Kothagudem, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, and Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts.
