Imagine Dragons, the popular American pop band, has sparked controversy after the lead singer kissed a Palestinian flag during the concert on May 27 in Milan, which was part of their Loom tour.

What happened with Imagine Dragons in Milan?

Dan Reynolds, donning a pair of black pants, waved the Palestinian flag and draped himself with it at the end of the concert as the band addressed the audience. As the band bowed down, Dan went back to the centre stage, grabbed the flag off his shoulder, and threw it after kissing the quadri-coloured flag. However, the gestures quickly grabbed the attention of the internet, gaining mixed reactions.

Some of the users perceived the gesture as a means of solidarity, where they supported him, while others condemned the act, citing that Dan supports terrorism.

Along with the Palestinian flag, the bass player of Imagine Dragons proudly showed off his transgender flag-themed guitar. One user stated, “I rted this video before but didn’t see the trans guitar too im gonna stream imagine dragons they deserve it I think.”
