In response to comments from a Mr. Navarro, the MEA stated, "We have seen the inaccurate and misleading statements made by Mr. Navarro and obviously we reject them." The spokesperson reaffirmed the Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership with the United States, highlighting the ongoing Yudh Abhyas military exercise in Alaska as a sign of robust ties. The ministry also referenced a statement from August 20 concerning the border issue with Nepal.
