Union Minister Jitendra Singh praised Shubhanshu Shukla for becoming the first Indian astronaut to embark on a mission to the International Space Station with the Axiom-4 launch.

Following the much-awaited launch of Axiom-4 mission on Wednesday, Union Minister Jitendra Singh lauded Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla for scripting history by becoming “first Indian Astronaut to embark on a mission to the International Space Station."

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla‘s Axiom-4 mission lifted off to the International Space Station (ISS) from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida on Wednesday.
