India vs South Africa 3rd ODI Match Playing 11, Full Squad: India are unlikely to change their team for the 3rd and final ODI against South Africa in Vizag even after losing the 2nd match a couple of days ago. With Ruturaj Gaikwad impressing with the bat with a blistering century, it’s unlikely that he’ll get dropped and even though Prasidh Krishna looked out of sorts at Raipur, India do not have depth in their pace battery to replace him with both senior pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj rested for this series.

South Africa, meanwhile, have lost 2 of their main players with seamer Nandre Burger and batter Tony de Zorzi leaving the field after getting injured at Raipur. The Proteas will look for a like for like sub for Burger with Ottneil Baartman coming in while Rubin Hermann might get a look in by replacing de Zorzi. They might even bring in Prenelan Subrayen as an option for Burger in order to field an extra spinner who might come in handy in the Vizag pitch which has recently been kind to tweakers. However, the pitch almost always is a batting paradise for the batters so it’ll be up to the South Africa management to decide if the risk is worth taking.
