Indian Army foils infiltration bid in J&K (PTI)

The Indian Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Wednesday, news agency PTI reported.

The infiltration bid was foiled in the Churunda area of Uri in the Baramulla district of north Kashmir.

An exchange of fire took place between the troops and the terrorists, they said.
