Induction meetings for PG students of Patna University organised

Patna: All postgraduate departments of Patna University (PU) held induction meetings for newly admitted students on Tuesday, marking the beginning of the 2025-26 academic session.

Regular classes also commenced on the same day.Senior teachers addressed the newcomers in their respective departments and apprised them with the details of their courses of studies, subject teachers and infrastructure facilities available for them.Dean of students’ welfare, Anil Kumar, said admission to all the PG courses, both in conventional as well as self-financing courses, has been completed. If some seats are vacant, the departments have been authorised to admit students against vacant seats in spot round latest by Sept 15. Only those students who have applied within the stipulated period would be considered for admission, he said.
