The Indo-Gulf Middle East Chamber of Commerce (INMECC), a body representing industrialists and professionals, is set to establish a footprint in Palakkad, eyeing opportunities in the Kochi-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor being developed by Kerala Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (KICDC).

INMECC aims to foster economic, industrial, commercial and cultural ties between India and the West Asia.

The Kerala chapter of INMECC held a meeting with top industrial leaders of Palakkad here last week. The meeting decided to honour micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and non-resident Indians (NRIs) who made a mark in their respective areas.
