Inquiry panel gives clean chit to IPS officer Sujith Das in controversial phone call row

IPS officer Sujith Das has been reportedly given a clean chit by an inquiry committee constituted by Kerala Police in connection with the controversial phone call case involving former Nilambur MLA P.V. Anvar.

Mr. Das had been suspended from service in September 2024 when he was serving as the District Police Chief (Pathanamthitta), shortly after Mr. Anvar publicly released audio clips and made disclosures alleging misconduct by the officer.
