New Delhi: A recent report has indicated that iQOO has started preparing for the iQOO 16. In several reports, it has been suggested that it might be built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, which is currently being experimented with high-end symmetrical dual speakers.
Along with the speaker setup, the same prototype is stated to include a 0916 series X-axis linear motor for more precise haptic feedback, a dedicated graphics chip to boost gaming performance, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
It might carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, USB 3.2 support, and an AR film layer on the display. The OV50Q sensor will power the main sensor. iQOO 16 is expected to house a squarish, quadrangular camera module; it might offers a noncommittal answer.
In terms of battery, it might come with a massive 8,500mAh battery pack. The similar battery capacity and flagship-grade speaker configuration were tipped along with the 2K flat display by featuring the latest customized panel material and ultra-high refresh rate, which is meant to improve gaming and multimedia performance.
Several other leaks had indicated that the iQOO 16 Ultra model might be skipped this generation due to rising memory costs, leaving the standard model as the star of the lineup.
