Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced to run a special package named ‘Bhavya Gujarat’ in ‘Bharat Gaurav Yatra’ train from Tirupati to explore the places of tourist interest in the State of Gujarat.
The tour package, designed for nine nights and 10 days, will start from Renigunta at 3 p.m. on October 7 and halt at Gudur by 5.55 p.m., Nellore at 5.50 p.m., Ongole at 8.20 p.m., Chirala at 9.35 p.m., Tenali at 10.50 p.m., Vijayawada at 11.40 p.m., Khammam at 2 a.m. (next day), Kazipet at 4.35 a.m. and Secunderabad at 8 a.m. before reaching Dwaraka at 8. p.m. on the third day.
The tour covers Dwarakadish temple in Dwaraka, Nageshwar temple, Bet Dwaraka, Somnath temple, Sabarmati Ashram, Mothera sun temple, Rani ki Vav and finally conclude with the Statue of Unity (Sardar Patel statue) at Ekta Nagar.
“The coffee, snacks, food, accommodation and transportation needs of the passengers will be taken care of,“ said Tirupati Railway Station Director K. Satyanarayana and IRCTC Area Officer K. Venugopal.
The train offers 639 tickets, including 237 in sleeper class, 350 in 3AC and 52 in 2AC, which are priced at ₹18,400, ₹30,200 and ₹39,900 respectively per person.
Entry fee at the temple, ticket for boating and other activities are charged extra. IRCTC provides travel insurance and security to the passengers throughout the journey.
