BTS’ management agency has been under a lot of fire lately - from their founder-chairman Bang Shi Hyuk being investigated for financial fraud by the Financial Supervisory Service to the company building getting raided to find an insider trader.
Amid all this, another scandal has come to light recently, as a former employee of the company has posted some allegations against the company.A former employee from BTS’ management company shares shocking revelationsA former alleged employee has dropped some shocking revelations about the company and its 'questionable' activities, raising concerns amongst fans and the public. According to social media posts that soon went viral after being shared online on June 7, the employee alleged that they were forced out of the company.The employee in question, the former communications director Elly Chae Eun, who was fired back in 2017, shared her opinions on a social media post that quickly went viral. She also talked about the company’s “greed” and how she was “forced” to step down from her position within the company.She stated in the post that “The company just dismissed me, saying I ‘no longer suited their preferences’. Later, they got into business with acquaintances and handed them hundreds of billions of won (₩50 billion, ₩100 billion) without hesitation.
Those people didn’t contribute even once when the company was struggling and trying to grow.”While talking about BTS, Chae Eun shared that they were good and deserved whatever they currently had while working with the company. She, however, also drew comparisons in her posts of BTS with unnamed “officials” who just came into the company like that.She called out these ‘officials’ in the post who allegedly came into the company and “played golf with corporate cards, lounged in luxury rooms, and drank alcohol”.
She called these unnamed people the “real evil” in the company, sparking a lot of concern amongst the public.The former director penned down a long note about the company and how everything was up until the moment she left on June 7.Eun Chae details putting her heart and soul into caring for “sons of others”The former director of the company also shared how much effort she had put into the company. She shared that “It was normal to get work instructions through KakaoTalk or phone calls in the middle of the night.
I used to sleep with my phone next to me all the time. I lost 7kg over two years after joining the company and even had symptoms of hair loss. I poured my heart into my work, taking care of the company’s male idols — “sons of others” — rather than my own precious children.
”Currently the founder and chairperson of BTS’ management agency, Bang Shi Hyuk, is under investigation for committing financial fraud. Earlier this year, allegations of the man misleading potential investors came to light. Allegedly, Shi Hyuk had sold the investor’s shares to a private equity fund that was supposedly owned by his associate.
