One of Hendryx’s attorneys, Peter Flowers, issued a firm statement following the filing: “Our client showed remarkable strength in coming forward, and we are proud to stand with her in pursuit of accountability and justice. No one – regardless of their status or athletic success – is above the law.”The lawsuit claims Hendryx reported the incident to law enforcement within hours and underwent a SANE exam at a hospital.
