The Brooklyn Nets will play the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday afternoon in an attempt to enter the victory column for the first time. But due to all the injuries, their roaster is very disrupted.
Towards the end of the first half of a game vs. the Spurs on October 27, 2025, Nets guard Cam Thomas got a cut to his face above his left eye. He went to the locker room initially, then returned to the game. Sources report that this incident took place just one game after the fracture of his nose. He will still participate in the upcoming game, though.

Thomas experienced another facial injury on Sunday, one game after he broke his nose diving face-first onto the court following a Cavaliers loss.

The likes of Thomas ensured Brooklyn made up a 26-point gap, but the Nets lost 118-107 to the Spurs on Sunday.Guard Michael Porter Jr. finished with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and two steals, and Thomas posted one of his highest single-game scoring games while playing in a Nets jersey, finishing with 40 points on 11 of 25 shooting.
Wembanyama ultimately dominated the Nets, posting 31 points, 14 rebounds, and six blocks as the Spurs earned their first three games without loss.The Nets' guard went 44 percent from the floor and 100 percent from the foul line to finish with his first 40-point game since November 15, 2024. Unfortunately, Thomas did not provide defensive status or assists, but veteran fantasy players know that they shouldn't expect him to contribute in those regards on a consistent basis.

The Nets have promoted Cam Thomas to availability despite having a nasal fracture, but they have ruled out Haywood Highsmith (recovering from right knee surgery), Drake Powell (right ankle strain), and Danny Wolf (left ankle sprain).With an average of 24.0 points and 5.5 assists per game through two games this season, Thomas—who experienced some contract controversy during the offseason—has emerged as Brooklyn's top scorer.
