Cooper Flagg suffered a left midfoot sprain on February 10 during a loss to the Phoenix Suns. The injury kept him out through the All-Star break and into early March.He returned on March 5 against the Orlando Magic. In that game, he scored 18 points and recorded four blocks while playing limited minutes.
Head coach Jason Kidd kept him around the 20 to 25 minute range during his first game back.
Dallas increased his minutes over the next few games. By March 10, when the Mavericks faced the Atlanta Hawks, Flagg was no longer listed on the injury report. That indicated he had fully recovered from the midfoot sprain.
