A.R. Rahman may perform the first song from Ram Charan's upcoming sports drama 'Peddi' live at a Hyderabad concert. Director Buchi Babu Sana hinted at a special collaboration. Ram Charan will next be seen in the upcoming sports action drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Currently in the production phase, the director recently teased that their first song might be performed live by A.R.
Rahman at his Hyderabad concert next week.

Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, director Buchi Babu Sana shared his excitement about collaborating with the legendary composer. He wrote, "Can't wait to experience the magic of @arrahman sir live on Nov 8th at the #MegaConcert. Every tune he creates turns into pure emotion. Honoured to be working with the maestro for our next film #PEDDI. Let's meet at the concert sir.

While the filmmaker didn't directly reveal what the "something special" was, it is now speculated that A.R. Rahman himself might perform the first song during the concert.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan, who is currently shooting for 'Peddi', recently made headlines after new photos from the Sri Lanka schedule surfaced online. The 'RRR actor for the film has made a transformation. He can be seen sporting a rugged look with long hair and a full beard.
Choreographer Jani Master shared pictures on Instagram, praising Charan's dedication: "The hard work and effort Charan Anna is putting into this movie is absolutely phenomenal.
Just wait and watch for its impact," he wrote.
About 'Peddi'
'Peddi' is said to be a sports action drama centered around a village-based cricket tournament. The film stars Ram Charan in the titular role, alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu.The movie is scheduled to release on March 27th, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan's birthday.
