The Golden State Warriors will not have Stephen Curry for their March 2, 2026 game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Chase Center. He remains out with a right knee issue and has not been cleared to play.This comes at an important point in the season. Both teams are still fighting for position in the Western Conference, and Golden State will have to manage without its main scorer again.

Stephen Curry has been out since late January with patellofemoral pain syndrome, often called runner’s knee. It is an overuse injury around the kneecap.An MRI earlier did not show any serious damage. A re-evaluation on March 1 showed improvement, but not enough for him to return. He is expected to miss at least five games, including this one. Another check is planned in about 10 days, and there is still no exact return date.
This will be his fifth straight missed game.
Golden State Warriors adjusting without Stephen Curry
Without Stephen Curry, the workload has been shared across the Golden State Warriors roster. Jimmy Butler has taken on more scoring responsibility. Draymond Green continues to handle playmaking and defense.
