ISB professor ends life at ISB Hyderabad campus

A resident professor at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad ended his life at the institute’s residential quarters late on Tuesday (June 24, 2025) night.

The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Nikhil Madan. The incident was reported between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. within the ISB campus at Gachibowli.

According to Gachibowli Inspector Mohammed Habibullah Khan, the motive behind the act remains unknown.

Police teams reached the location shortly after being alerted and shifted the body for post-mortem examination. A case was registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and an investigation is underway to determine what led to this extreme step.
