ISRO’s ‘Space on Wheels’ inauguarted at IIITDM-Kurnool

The ISRO Space on Wheels exhibition at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kurnool was inaugurated by Rayalaseema University Vice-Chancellor Prof. V. Venkata Basava Rao on Monday (September 1, 2025).

More than 2,000 children from 33 schools and colleges in and around Kurnool visited the exhibition and experienced the space technologies. The students were allowed to see the labs, particularly the drone studio, at IIITDM-Kurnool.

The Space on Wheels bus will be available at KVR Degree college for Women in Kurnool city on Tuesday (September 2, 2025).

The Astronomy Club of IIITDM-Kurnool organised ISRO’s Space on Wheels Exhibition showcasing ISRO’s space missions, models, and applications, aiming to inspire students and the public about India’s achievements in space science. The Space on Wheels initiative by ISRO brings interactive displays and informative exhibits that highlight India’s journey from early satellite launches to cutting-edge missions like Chandrayaan and Gaganyaan. It also provides an opportunity for visitors, especially students, to learn about satellites, rockets.
