Roseanne Barr, known for her hit sitcom show ‘Roseanne,’ recently sat down for an interview where she officially shared her thoughts on Jimmy Kimmel’s return to his network. Her show used to be one of the most-watched hit shows on the network til 2018, after which the show was removed and taken off air following a controversy.

During her talk with NewsNation, the actress and TV personality shared how her life was “ruined”, while Kimmel was able to bring his show back on air within a few days. She shared that, "I got my whole life ruined, no forgiveness, and all of my work stolen and called a racist for time and eternity, for racially misgendering someone. It just shows how they think. It's a double standard."She specifically called out the network, which she shared with Kimmel at one time, for their ‘double standards.’
She added that, "I think he'll cheer himself on and his fans, all what is it, 2,000 of them. They’ll feel heartened and, you know, like they won another battle against Trump and the people of the United States. So it'll be a big celebration. 'Oh, he's back,' and he’ll double down."
What had happened with Roseanne Barr
In 2018, the actress had commented on the then-president of the US, Barack Obama. She had been talking about his advisor at the time, Valerie Jarrett, and had made comments like how she is from "Planet of the Apes" and a “Muslim Brotherhood.”
She had faced massive backlash from the public over her comments and had been completely blacklisted from the industry after that. Even though ‘Roseanne’ was one of the most-watched sitcoms on the channel at the time, it was still canceled and taken off-air with no room left for discussion.During the interview, she talked about how she is no longer mentioned in any spaces anymore, and how she has been “Erased from history, from the history of feminism”. She further added, “That cracks me up. I'm never mentioned in anything about women who are pioneers in media. I'm never mentioned in anything anymore."
