J.K. Rowling, born Joanne Rowling, expressed that she recently read the first two episodes of the show adaptation, and claimed that they are ‘SO, SO, SO GOOD!’ The series will start its production this summer and is slated for release in 2026.

Furthermore, when asked about whether she actively participated in writing the script of the show, Rowling denied and responded that while she did not contribute actively, she was working closely with the extremely talented writers.

That’s our priority — what’s on screen,” he said, adding that her anti-transgender statements are quite a complicated and nuanced controversey.
