In a major development in the J&K terror module case, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested Saeed Ahmed Ansari, the father of accused Dr. Shaheen and her brother Parvez, after a raid in Lucknow. The arrest is part of a wider crackdown on a 'white collar' terror module that has seen multiple arrests across several states, including that of Dr. Shaheen. The investigation targets a network with alleged links to terror outfits Jaish-e-Mohammad and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. According to India Today's Samarth Srivastava, reporting from the location, 'a mobile phone and a hard disk has been collected from this particular area, has been seized from this particular location because the police do not want Saeed Ahmed Ansari to further contact that Parvez because Parvez is still on the run.'
