J-pop girl group Dress Code removes Asahina Madoka, issues apology after official announcement; 'Will continue with five members'

In a surprising turn of events, J-pop sensation Dress Code has bid farewell to their member Asahina Madoka due to a breach of contract. The group will now continue as a quintet. It was recently revealed that Japanese idol Asahina Madoka has been removed from her girl group, Dress Code. The star was removed from the group due to a breach of contract; however, not many details have been made public.

Asahina Madoka removed from dress code

On November 12, in an online social media post, J-pop girl group Dress Code announced that they will be continuing on with 5 members only. It was confirmed that Asahina Madoka has been removed from the group officially. They cited that the member was removed from the group due to some form of breach of contract and that the decision was taken mutually. The statement read, “We deeply apologize to fans and related parties for this sudden announcement.

Dress Code will move forward with five members and continue to respond to everyone’s support with sincerity.”

Asahina Madoka also issues apology

Soon after the sudden group line-up change was announced, Madola shared a formal apology about the matter on her social media as well. She apologized for her actions and shared that she took the opportunity for granted. Her statement read, “I am truly sorry for betraying the fans who have supported me through my careless behavior.

During my one year of activity, I’ve had so many wonderful encounters and experiences.

Thank you very much for everything.”She debuted with the group in 2024 and had a successful run with them and featured in a lot of live performances as well. Fans have been speculating that her removal from the group occurred due to the fact that a lot of other singers and artists have been removed from the same label this year. This was mainly done after photos and videos of them with their boyfriends or girlfriends were leaked online. Fujisaki Azu is another similar idol trainee who left HERONINES due to similar contract breaches earlier this month.
