A massive earthquake shook Afghanistan on Monday, leaving over 800. A relief and rescue operation has been launched by authorities.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday held a telephonic conversation with Afghan counterpart Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi and expressed condolences at the loss of lives in the earthquake.
He also informed that India has delivered 1000 family tents to Kabul, and 15 tonnes of food aid are being moved from our mission in Kabul to Kunar.
He further added that more relief material will be dispatched from India starting tomorrow, and wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
