Jawan dies in accidental firing in J&K’s Poonch

Jammu: An Army jawan died after sustaining critical injuries in an accidental firing in J&K’s Poonch district on Monday, stated official sources.“The soldier, Naik Amarjeet of 7 JAT Regiment, was immediately evacuated by his colleagues to the nearest medical facility, where he succumbed during treatment,” an official source said.Further investigation was underway, sources added.
