Jelly Roll opens up about his WWE journey and his training session for SummerSlam 2025

The Grammy-nominated Jelly Roll has recently set foot into the threshold of WWE at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He was seen as an ally to Randy Orton, who played a high-octane feud against Drew McIntyre in the opening match of SNME, held on July 12, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.This match advanced WWE’s plan for a future tag bout featuring Orton and Jelly Roll against McIntyre and Logan Paul. The "Save Me" singer walked Orton to the ring, returning the favor after helping him during a SmackDown assault, while Logan Paul balanced the situation by escorting McIntyre.Following his stint at SNME, the Grammy-nominated singer Jelly Roll is all set to make his in-ring debut at WWE SummerSlam next month.

In a surprising crossover event, the music industry and wrestling industry have come together, as Jelly Roll is all set to make his SummerSlam debut this year, and he is not taking the opportunity lightly. The Grammy-nominated artist revealed during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show that he’s been rigorously training with some of wrestling’s biggest names to prepare for the showdown.

During the conversation, Jelly Roll also opened up about how hard he has been training for SummerSlam. Additionally, he also opened up about how WWE Hall of Famers and WWE heavyweight champions, such as The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Kevin Owens, and Jacob Fatu, have helped him with his training at the WWE Performance Center.

During the interview, the musician and singer stated, “I was training with Matt Bloom the other day, and Undertaker comes in with Michelle (McCool).

‘They just want to watch for a minute, is that cool?’ ‘For sure.’ This is who he is as a human. He further added, “The entire three-hour session, him and his wife stood on those ropes and gave me pointer after pointer in the most….Kevin Owens, Jacob Fatu came in and wrestled with me the other day for three-four hours. These dudes are like pouring into me because they see that I’m trying to take it as serious as I can."
