John Cena's next title match has been set in stone for WWE's next Premium Live Event.WWE is coming off one of the most captivating editions of Money in the Bank PLE. The night saw the last appearance of John Cena, who did not score a victory.
Regardless, Cena decided to move forward on his farewell tour and asked for the fans to send him a real challenger.
Just then, a fan favorite emerged, and before the night ended on Monday Night RAW, he was unveiled as the next opponent for Cena's Undisputed WWE Championship.

John Cena opened the June 9th edition of Monday Night RAW, taking place at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The Cenation Leader started by acknowledging R-Truth's return and his getting attacked by him.
He berated him and the fans by saying that they would forget about him in a year. He then reminded them that he is halfway through his farewell tour with only 19 dates left and asked for a proper challenge for him.Just then, CM Punk's music hit, and out he came to confront his iconic rival. It was a classic scene from the early 2010s recreated as the WWE Universe was totally into it. The duo exchanged heated words, with Punk reminding him that he is the one who sold his soul to The Final Boss.
Punk even mentioned that the WWE title had corrupted him and that if he were to hold the title at some point, he is afraid that he would become an even dangerous competitor than Cena.
With tensions running high, Punk proposed to have one last battle with Cena for the title on RAW. Cena looked keen on the idea, but declined. Instead, he made it clear that if The Best in the World wanted a title shot, he would need to follow him to Saudi Arabia for the Night of Champions event. Punk agreed; however, the segment ended with the arrival of the new Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins.
The match was later made official for the Night of Champions event.
