Even when it seems as though I'm doing well. Jane began her letter, "Dear John & Matty," and ended it simply, "Love, Mom," I miss you, always." This message touched several followers who offered their support.

Johnny Gaudreau and his little brother Matthew Gaudreau died tragically on August 29, 2024. Riding their bikes close to their house in Oldmans Township, New Jersey. That evening, right before their sister Katie Gaudreau's wedding, Sean M.

Higgins, a drunk driver, collided with them. Among the several charges against Higgins are vehicular homicide, manslaughter, reckless driving, tampering with evidence, and leaving the scene of the accident. Higgins pleaded not guilty in January 2025 and declined a plea offer of 35 years.
