Joining NCC will give a bright future: Cluster University Registrar

Those who join NCC during their student days will have a bright future, Cluster University Registrar G. Srinivas said.

Mr Srinivas, who is also principal of Silver Jubilee College, along with NCC officials of 28 Andhra Battalion participated in the selection of cadets from the College into NCC.

Addressing the students, Mr. Srinivas said joining NCC will imbibe discipline in their lives and will also give them an opportunity to get priority in recruitment into the Armed Forces and Police department. He asked the selected candidates to work hard and train well for getting a chance to participate in the Republic Day Parade to be held on January 26.

College vice-principal B. R. Prasad Reddy said it is a great opportunity for the NCC cadets to have quota in government jobs and for pursuing higher studies.

Subedar Jaktar Singh said the previous students of Silver Jubilee College earned a name as disciplined cadets and asked the fresh batch of cadets to continue the tradition. A total of 75 students participated for selection of 60 cadets from the College.
