No one can truly measure the storm of emotions a woman endures, and even the strongest hearts have their limits. This was probably the case for Simone Biles, the wife of Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, who bravely stepped into the spotlight to share her personal battles.
After wrestling with her struggles, she found her own path to healing and decided to share her journey with the world.
In a recent TikTok video, the seven-time Olympic Gold Medalist revealed she had undergone three plastic surgeries: one to smooth away hereditary eye bags, another to mend an earlobe injured in childhood, and a mysterious third procedure she left for her followers to guess. After a flurry of guesses, she subtly chose a cherry emoji, hinting but not confirming bre*st augmentation.
Weeks later, in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Biles opened up about her decision to get bre*st augmentation, explaining it was about feeling comfortable and confident in her own skin. Simone made it clear she never disliked her former self, but she became more aware of this part of her body. “Obviously, you can notice the bre*sts,” Biles told PEOPLE. “But other than that, it’s just feeling good about yourself and loving yourself, and I’ve always been very vocal about that.
And not that I didn’t like the way I looked or the way I felt. It’s just something that I notice obviously a little bit more because I live in this body, I’m just so used to it.”
Simone Biles advises young girls not to trust everything they see online
The 28-year-old decorated gymnast urged young girls not to trust everything they see on the internet. Wanting to be real with them, she revealed she tried Botox for her 27th birthday, but it backfired. Her message was clear: no one should feel compelled to change themselves just to conform to a beauty standard.
Loving yourself is what truly counts. “Seeing me win medals at the Olympics, that’s not relatable,” Biles shared.
“But what is relatable is how we feel about ourselves, what we talk about, what we go through, and how we share openly. I also think it shows young girls that they have the right to their own choices. Whatever they are, and that’s no shame added as well. I feel like nowadays with social media, you see everyone and you’re like, ‘Oh my God, how does she look so good?’ Social media is not real, so that’s why I try to be as transparent as possible.
But that’s why also I’ve told them, on my 27th birthday, I got Botox, and for me, it didn’t go well. I didn’t like it because I had a floating eyebrow, and everyone was asking about it. So, I tried to share it, and it’s like, you don’t have to do these things to fall in line to seem whatever. As long as you love yourself, that’s really all that matters.”
The GOAT of gymnastics addresses why she got her eye bags fixed
The NFL WAG shared that no matter how many times she claimed to have enjoyed a full 12 hours of sleep, the photo shoot staff would still reach for strips to hide her eye bags.
She revealed, with a touch of humor, that her so-called ‘Biles eye bags’ were a family trait, something she had always seen as a flaw and had finally decided to address. “I got a lower bleph because me and my family have, I call it, the ‘Biles eye bags,’ and we’ve just always had them.
Hereditary, and so that was just a big flaw,” Biles said. “Every time, I would go to a shoot, they’re like, ‘Oh, can we put some strips on her?’ and I was like, ‘Oh baby, I had 12 hours last night, these aren’t going away. These are just hereditary.’ so, it’s something that I wanted to fix.”More coverage on NFL News:Jonathan Owens’ wife Simone Biles wows in shimmering silver look at Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards 2025“Welcome Baby Goff”: Jared Goff’s wife Christen Harper Goff hosts a humble baby shower for their upcoming baby girlOrangeburg County jurors ordered NCAA to pay $18 million to former South Carolina State Bulldogs DE Robert Geathers and his wifeMatthew and Kelly Stafford receive heartfelt honor from Michigan IVF recipients as they name their baby boy Stafford TorreyBroncos QB Bo Nix deletes social media to escape criticism from fans and prioritize football's toughest season
