Jubilant Agri & Consumer Products to set up Rs 50 crore unit in Gujarat

AHMEDABAD: Jubilant Agri & Consumer Products Ltd (JACPL), part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group, will set up a new industrial polymer manufacturing facility at Savli near Vadodara in Gujarat.

The company already operates a latex manufacturing unit at the same location.The Rs 50 crore investment will expand JACPL’s capacity for producing industrial polymers used in latexes and adhesives, strengthening its presence in Gujarat and western India. The company said the new facility will also generate local employment opportunities.“Gujarat offers strong market potential and a conducive business environment with skilled manpower.

This investment will enhance our industrial polymer production,” said Mohan Deep Singh, CEO and Whole-Time Director, JACPL.

JACPL currently operates 8 manufacturing and 2 R&D facilities across India. The new Savli unit will further strengthen its Performance Polymers & Chemicals business segment and align with its strategy of expanding capacity near key consumption centres.
