Doctors' Terror Plot: Jaish Module Busted, 360 Kg Explosives Seized Near Delhi
This special report focuses on a major counter-terror operation in Faridabad, neighbouring Delhi, where a terror module with suspected links to Jaish-e-Mohammed was busted by Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana police. The report details the foiling of what is described as 'the big plot to bleed Delhi,' which prompted an all-out crackdown. A key figure arrested is Dr. Muzammil, who taught at Al-Falah University. A massive haul of around 360 kg of explosives, identified as ammonium nitrate, was seized from his rented home in Dhauj village. The seizures also included an assault rifle, a pistol, ammunition, and 20 timers. An assault rifle was also recovered from a car belonging to a woman doctor also employed at the same university, whose role is now under investigation. The operation is part of a larger investigation following the arrest of another doctor, Aadil Rather, in Uttar Pradesh.
